Yeah, this is my fave movie based on one of his books. Noting that the book is also awesome. It's just so easy to see something like this happening today in regards to the virus that spread and wiped out just about everyone.

The characters in this book are well done and the movie pretty much follows the book. There were times when I felt sorry for Harold and Nadine, and other times when I wanted them to get what they deserved. Then there's Tom Cullen. Who could forget, "M-o-o-n, that spells Tom Cullen" in addition to his "Laws yes"?

I grew up in Maine and so the setting was familiar to me, which made it all the more real when reading and watching this. I think this is part of the reason I connect to Stephen King's books, other than he's a fantastic writer.
